Authorize the installer and app once.
No Terminal or disabling macOS security is required.
Why Apple shows a warning
This build is intended for authorized Alibel staff and does not yet use an Apple Developer ID certificate or notarization. Gatekeeper blocks it because the developer cannot be verified; the warning does not mean macOS detected malware.
Continue only if you downloaded the DMG from alibel.com and its SHA-256 matches the value published at the end of this page.

Try to open the DMG
Double-click the downloaded file. macOS will show “Not Opened.” Choose Done; do not move it to the Trash.

Authorize the DMG in Privacy & Security
Open System Settings › Privacy & Security. In Security, locate the blocked DMG and choose Open Anyway. Confirm Open Anyway once more and enter an administrator password if macOS requests it.

Drag the app to Applications
When the disk opens, drag Alibel Downloader onto the Applications folder and wait for the copy to finish.

Try to open Alibel Downloader
Go to Applications, right-click Alibel Downloader, and choose Open. macOS may block it again; choose Done.

Authorize the app in Privacy & Security
Return to System Settings › Privacy & Security. Choose Open Anyway next to Alibel Downloader, confirm Open Anyway, and authenticate if requested. This authorization is only required for the first launch.

Check the required tools
Inside the app, check the two indicators in the upper-right corner. Green means ready; orange means an update is available; red means installation is required. Select each orange or red indicator and follow the recommended option.

Everything happens on your Mac
The website opens the app. The app does the work.
The link is passed through the private adl:// protocol. Format inspection, downloading, and any audio/video merging happen locally.

The app uses specialized local tools to inspect formats and merge tracks.

Choose automatic quality, compatible MP4, audio only, or exact tracks.
Responsible use
Only download content you own or have permission to save. Alibel Downloader does not bypass DRM protection.
